Kia ora folks,
Mrs Dowman showed me something cool today that we think might make it easier for those of you who find typing hard or slow. It is an 'add-on' in google docs that allows you to speak what you want to type and it types it for you - you do need to speak clearly and check that what it has picked up is correct.
This is how you can get to it:
- Open your DPE google doc
- Click 'Add-ons"in the menu bar
- Search for 'speech recognition'
- Click the free add on that comes up and allow it permission to access the computer
- Now it will be in your 'add-on' list
- Click it to start the app
