DPE 1, 2 and 3 Overview/Expectations

Guide for completing this document and Design Challenge.

Setting up your document

1. Select document and make a copy
2. Save document into your own DPE folder
3. Rename document with your name and DPE doc 2015 e.g.

Joe Bloggs DPE doc 2015

  4. Open your document and record your first and last name, room number and

DPE  homeroom on your document.

Time Management

Manage your time effectively, complete each section of the document at the required times

             Stage 1 and 2 - steps 1, 2 and 3 (day 1)

             Stage 3 - step 4 and you can start step 5 (day 2)

             Stage 4 - step 5 and 6 are on going Each Day (day 3 onwards)

             Stage 5 - step 7 is to be completed by the last day of your design challenge.

    If you are unable to complete your work in class please complete for homework.

Document management

• Please remember to date your work each time you work on your document
• Inserting photos -

                    Each photo requires a comment.

                    Make sure your photo is in the correct place on the document

• Steps 1 - 2 are independent and in your own words (individual thinking and ideas, then combine with your group)
• Steps 3 and 5 can be group or individual photo’s but comments are to be personal (We want your thinking/views not your partners or groups)
• When planning for materials please advise your DPE teacher in advance to enable them to get what you need.
• Please do not mark the teachers comments as resolved as they are then not displayed for future reference.
• When altering or adding extra after a teacher has checked your work use a different font so that the changes are easier to identify.
