Team 4

Some of the troupes in Team 4 and split up into three teams to design there own land yacht. The three teams to tackle this challenge are focusing on three different parts of the land yacht.. 

1 - The Sail: What material is best to use? What shape is best? How should it be attached? 

2 - The Mechanisms: Which kind of systems are needed to allow the sail to harness the wind in the most effective way? How do all the ropes/pulleys etc work?

3 - Frame: What size should the frame be? What is the best material to use? How will it be fixed together? 

The three teams also need to work to bring all three aspects together to be built. The ideas and prototyping has begun...
